Unless it is a long flight that can be done faster by pulling the power back so that a fuel stop can be avoided, all the NJA fleets go at high speed cruise with pax and then they are usually planned at normal cruise for ferry legs.

Having used both ACARS and AFIS, they are quite similar. They do pretty much the same things, but differ in format. I don't see either as significantly better than the other.

For those airplanes that use AFIS, are you CPDLC or ADS-B capable? Any non-Honeywell avionics use AFIS? We have AFIS on the G-V, but not CPDLC or ADS-B so it's HF SELCAL over the water.
