Default "App accepted letter" at Netjets ?

I read about many people saying they have been "app accepted".

It has been about 7 weeks since I applied, and I have heard nothing. I have a LOR, but so do about 74,000 other people it seems. Anyway, should I expect a 'letter of app acceptance' within my lifetime? There is just no acknowledgement whatsoever from them, even when I added additional contact information via email.

I guess if the phone don't ring, I'll know it's them.

Default puzzling!

here's a puzzler for you. I received a rejection email last week, then yesterday received a "appl. rcvd" email! it says they will review my background then communicate further. are they ahead of themselves, or do i have two packages, i wonder. i faxed my first package in june, then found out through a bud there they had nothing on me, so i mailed a hard copy 3 weeks ago. i thought the rejection was aweful quick and a surprise; i have 9000tt with navy vip transport throughout my resume plus commuter captain time. the rejection was addressed to me specifically, but the "recvd" email was to "undisclosed recipients", has anyone seen this in the "to" block??

I got the app accepted letter email yesterday also, Now how long is the wait for the phone interview? And I heard that they are hiring 1 out of 10 applicant. Yikes!

Mosquito, was your "app rcvd" email addressed to you personally or does it say "undisclosed recipients"? also, are your 1/10 stats after phone or CMH interview?? Thanks.

Well you got me thinking now. It does not say Undisclosed recipients, and it not address personally either. What got me is this sentence "
Upon review of your background and qualifications, you will receive communication in regard to the status of your application. In the meantime, we invite you to continue visiting our website at www.netjets.com.

What I think it is that they recieved my app. And they will look it over. So I am having second thoughts on what it is. No my 1/10 stat is from a friend that is going thru recurrent and had a conversation with someone in the training department. Hope that helps.

I sent my app in late February and did not receive the "app received" email until early May. When I sent in an update in July, I got an "update received" email within 24 hours. It has been crickets since and I more than meet the mins and have internal recs too. I heard (from a current NJI pilot) a similar 10% hiring rate and that is after the CMH interview. I guess they can be really picky these days.

Similar timeline and meet quals here too. Who knows what the NetJets machine is up to... Oh, only to have applied 1-3 years ago, odds would have been mych better. If only the pesky AF hadn't owned me at that point
