With talk like that, imagine what a well orchestrated campaign from these pilots who were dismissed at random could do.

Wow, really? Fire somebody and then call them back? I can just hear that phone call: "Um, we were just kidding, come on back and let's have a big group hug". Sadly they will come back as the job market is terrible.

I wish the best for my friends there but shake my head over how this was handled. No call for voluntary furloughs. No reduced flying/pay bid or job share plan. Just a personality contest and a Christmas lump of coal for the losers.

A lot of damage was done to the team spirit with this well planned move!

Now the remaining pilots will be wondering who's next and feeling warm & fuzzy anytime the phone rings. I'm sure they expected better considering their great training and emphasis on professionalism.

Sorry to hear about the hose job XO is giving their pilots but they may end up being the lucky ones by finding a new job first before the old job liquidates.

Things could have been done different at XO I agree. Was it the best way of doing things, maybe not. I think CS has done a great job with the way things were handled, bad as it may be. Maybe XO could have done some of the same things and saved a few more jobs...

Only time will tell what happens at XO, but for all of you who don't work here, quit posting useless garbage about how you think the pilot group feels. You have no idea how the group feels as a whole, so please, shut up!

Don't shoot the messenger either. I think the pilots that they want to call back, would be happy to come back. Just my opinion, fire away...
