Just confirmed with DPJ - 2 yr commitment and the $ decreases by 1/24th every month.

Can any DPJ guys give input to how many hours they're getting every month?

Thanks!

My highest month has been over 60. Plan about 500 hours/year

You get points for all, hotels and travel.

You get all the hotel points, car rental points, and fuel points but not the Delta airline points.

1 mo straight? How do you like the job? What’s your ‘typical’ day like?

I did a week of indoc, went home for a week, went to training without break. Training is about 1wk for recurrent and 2wks for initial. Then I came home and sat getting paid for 5 weeks before I started SOE. SOE (25 hour min) took two rotation. Then released to the line.

How would you rate the training?

Indoc training was nothing really. Basically learning how to use the IPAD. The FOM and SOPs.
Then either CAE or Flight Saftey. They want you to pass so it nothing crazy. You can fail it though so you have to study but they give you everything you need to study and really help as much as they can. So there really isn’t any surprises. I came from the 121 world so compared to that it’s really easy if you study.

I applied December 10th. Phone call from them yesterday to schedule a phone screen. Details of that screen are in the other thread. https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/p...te-jets-2.html

I’ll jump in. Had a phone screen this past week. Interview this week in CVG. Can anyone add insight to the process? What is the feeling of things with the WU merger soon to complete? How is QOL of the 8/6? I have more than enough for Cpt mins...what is expected upgrade for high time guys? What is a typical line like?

Thoughts/Advice Please

Hello all, new to the forums and exploring my options while also explaining my recent past,

Started a thread in the regional section titled ‘Options’. To summarize, I recently failed my first checkride ever and it was with a regional. The failure was totally on me, I put a lot of pressure on myself and I goofed. I failed the ride for the same reason I had to repeat a sim session over. They allowed me to resign and told me to reapply after 4months. Whether that was genuine or not, unsure. TBH before going to the regionals I did not do a whole lot of research and stayed off these forums as recommended by some retired airline friends.

To the point of this post now, now that I’m researching and finding out there are opportunities in the 135 world would DPJ or any other 135 companies that hire 1500 FO’s even look at me? This company and some others would be a lot better for my family and wife’s career since I could be home based and not worry about crash pads/moving.

Thoughts welcomed, appreciate the advice.
