Frustrated PA

He said what we’ve all been thinking for the most recent 2-5 years.
Sometimes you just run out of things to say. We’re all really frustrated and it’s been more and more difficult to keep our frustrations in check. I know this captain and he’s a great guy and normally very mild-mannered and fairly reserved. Definitely not even in the top half if one were to create a list of most to least likely to lose his cool. Personally, I’m not shy about sharing pure facts, but do my best not to editorialize. “We are sitting here waiting for a gate because Frontier only has one gate and it is currently occupied by another Frontier aircraft. That plane is scheduled to leave in 35 minutes.” It’ll be interesting to see how the Company reacts as I’d expect the video to gain in popularity over the next few days. |
What an idiot. I’d fire him if i ran the show. You just don’t say that stuff no matter how frustrated you are.

The PA appeared calm and factual. He was totally honest, embarrassed, and explaining the nature & cause of the delay; or did you miss that part? :confused: Good thing you Don’t run the show. Go troll somewhere else, and btw, GFY. Really, GFY. :eek: |

This is the kind of stuff that many have been referring to. Stay the course. Fly the line like you always have. No one outside of our industry cares about our contract negotiations and certainly don't care anymore now. If I heard this over the PA and I was Joe Blow off the street, I'd probably wonder if the CA was whining like this over a parking space, what would he do if an engine blew in flight - panic? Blame the company for not paying the maintainers? Something else? Be a PROFESSIONAL at ALL TIMES!!!!! |
