PHL base?

I'm hearing some legit rumblings about a PHL base soon. Thoughts?

To me, it's no surprise at all, we need more east coast reserve support, bad.

It’ll probably happen. But more for the affect of recruiting the bottom denominator to help recruiting than operational need. Get ready for 50 crews to be displaced from DEN because hiring and upgrades sure aren’t going to staff it.

Let’s start this by saying this is my opinion. Is it gonna be a co-base 50 miles apart? We need reserves everywhere. Gonna fill a new base? Wow? How? BC THE DING DONGS IN CHARGE READ THIS I MUST SAY HI FIRST.... THEN... who’s coming here? 14 out of the 36 you wanted the last few months? Ps your already behind, it will only get worse. Do you think current pilots will help you out of this jam after you have continuously **** on them? Afraid not. Good luck getting a helping hand from this group after the horrific circumstances you have put us in. At this point, any problems the airline has will need to be fixed by the airline. The pilots are done period. Good luck

I fixed it for you. All the growth has been in MCO over the last 6 months. I think they’re building it big in order to displace from it.

According to the training dept, PHL will be the new base. Take that for what it’s worth but they said it was confirmed by Ben and Shawn.

If they want to pick a base that would help recruiting they should go with Austin. Every Airline that has a Texas base it’s alway senior.

100% agree I have several friends at regionals who would be willing to “suffer through” at F9 if they would have gone with the AUS base.

If you get involuntary displaced , can we go back to FO to avoid commuting? Commuting to PHL is not an option for some of us.

Picking a base that would go senior won’t help recruiting. Picking a base in the densest population center in the US however...
