If there was a merger or acquisition, is there a precedent of the pool being let go and washed out or would they keep the pool?

We are getting way ahead of ourselves, but if there is a merger, and that’s a GIGANTIC if, the integration process takes years. I don’t think anyone in the pools has anything to be worried about.

NK isn't hiring either, and they don't have any new aircraft orders. We have matching contract agreements (mostly), and our FAs are about to vote in their deal. That completely wraps up all of F9's labor contracts.

Make your own speculations, but it is now a new financial picture for this private equity firm that's in the business of buying and selling.

If they are delaying classes that long something is going to happen. We are scheduled to be +15 airframes this year. That’s at least 200+ pilots. Either the delivery’s are delayed or something else. Hopefully they will tell us something soon.

Why is NK not hiring?

Not sure where this info came from. Spirit is hiring 56 a month. Also 45-50 airplanes still coming through 2021. Another order would be additional...

Spirit is most definitely hiring. Actually just ranked up big time. 56 a month starting in July for the foreseeable future.

Back in January we were told the same thing in recurrent. Frontier had plans to hire 50 a month and half that number in upgrades. We were supposed to have new uniforms too.
Something is going down. The numbers don't add up.

Well there is gonna have to be an IPO before that happens. Spirt is public and we are private as far as a merger. A acquisition is different, but I don’t see Spirt coughing up that kind of money.
I do find it odd that we are netting 1.25 airplanes a month and no hiring. I believe we are over staffed, but not to that degree.
My 2 cents.

Is Franke still a shareholder in Spirit? I had heard rumors that he still held nearly 12% of the stock.
