nobody is doing a disservice to me. I don’t blame my misfortune on anybody else. And I respect and am actually furthermore just truly grateful to what the pilot group here has done to help everyone. But I am so sick and tired of having to hear about how much damn money everybody makes. If you want to peacock about how much some of you you make, great. I’ll caution you to mind your audience. I’ve flown with many a person that likes to flaunt their pay during this time, knowing that many of us are proper screwed. Guy comes in here & says UA pay isn’t what it used to be now. Show him up and tell him how much pay you make. Who has the chip on his shoulder; you, him, or I? Probably not him....

Let’s thank people that took cola’s to help save jobs instead of attacking them and acting like entitled millennials. Probably the same guy attacking people on the Facebook group. At the same time we have FOs crediting over 130 hours this month so those guys need to quit that nonsense.

He rates up there with your company apologists (aero and toga) that rant about how F9 made money in 2q then support your substandard COLAs. Bottom line is you guys got your azzez handed to you by Franky and Indigo.

I never said that the 35 hour cola was anything other than substandard. I did however point out that since it was completely optional, and was in no way a concession, it wasn't worth getting too upset about. Any time your company pays you money and benefits to sit home and not work for an extended period of time (especially during a business crisis) its a good deal.

Southwest and United (among others) offered more lucrative leaves of absence than us. No question. But they are also going to be looking at contract concessions. We aren't. Southwest has already asked the pilots to take a pay cut, and I guarantee United will follow. I don't need to apologize for Frontier.

Best of luck to all, and I mean that whole heartedly

^^^This^^^ No need for me to retype much else. I’ll admit that I used to b and moan about this career too. So, I took my toys and went to work in the real world for a number of years. It was sobering to say the least. Since coming back to flying, I have a whole different perspective of this career and the complaints of many pilots who likely have never had a real career outside of aviation. That’s not to say that we shouldn’t fight for what we deserve, but a little perspective on what we may already have can go a long way.

With that said, I haven’t been on here for a few days. I’ve been too busy enjoying getting paid to sit at home for six months spending time with my wife, kids and dogs. Imagine how much it warmed my heart to see that I made such an impression on someone that, not only did they mentioned me (and aero) by name, but classified me as unstable to boot. It’s the little moments in life that put a smile on my face.

Who in the world is attacking people on the Facebook group? I haven’t seen any of that.
