Interesting that at least one of the new 321’s has the same paint job as the original and is also an eagle. I assumed, obviously incorrectly, that “Frederick’s” paint scheme was going to be unique to the fleet.

Kinda cool to see a Condor and Orca for the next two normal airplanes though!

Was that a condor? I thought it looked like some kind of vulture. The orca looks too small.Originally Posted by Salukipilot4590

I wonder if the 10 “white tails” we are supposedly getting are the AK 321 NEOs they intend to retire at the end of 2023? Still haven’t heard about those much since an offhand comment made a year ago or so. Certainly would help with the ~9 aircraft delayed from Airbus which will probably only get worse over time.

I wonder if Airbus contractually has to compensate it’s customers if deliveries are delayed outside of an agreed upon delivery window. I know they have in the past.Originally Posted by Stayontarget

That was the original announcement. When they ordered the new 321s/xlr airplanes it was in the footnotes that the white tails were NEOs.Originally Posted by MOARdrag
I don’t believe the 10 extra were Neos, I believe they were used ceo 21s
