Town hall

Anything worth mentioning from the CP town hall?

No not really. They talked a little about the Bermuda divert.

Townhalls are an hour of analyzing what went wrong, how to fix it, and then never doing anything about actually fixing it.

Mix in an overfocus on sick calls, and a lack of clear growth plans for retaining experience, and you get the picture.

SC doesn't have the juice to fix anything.

BL wants to just kick the can down the road.

absolutely nothing.
the delta contract sucks because they’re limited to 85hrs.
frontier is a desirable place to be because. Bases. Or something. He wasn’t real clear.
truly a wasted hour. Recruiting blah rtag, blah blah. They extended 800ish cjo’s last year. Phx crew room coming, late like our flights. Outside security of course. Real useful. It reminded me why I usually do not listen to it.

The plan for retention mentioned in the call was “Delta is capped at 85 hours of credit…so…” yeah…

It's monthly average Line value (ALV) that ranges from 72-82.

To get a line you have to bid within the line construction window (LCW) that is 7.5 hours above or below ALV.

Once schedules are released you can white slip (straight time) up to ALV +15.

You can go over ALV +15 by picking up Pilot to Pilot swap board trips IF they don't violate any FAR limits in regards to hours.

Green slip is doubletime but does not count as credit time so it doesn't affect pick up limits.
