Under the language of the contract that will be going into effect with the app, this would be a legal reassignment (per ALPA) because of the “reasons beyond the control of the company.” In the above example the reassignment was outside of the footprint of the original pairing. That should not be allowed in my opinion. I understand that my plane can break down in an outstation and that’s not what I’m talking about. A reassignment to different flying should never fall outside of the footprint of the original pairing. We have that language and then negate it with, “for reasons beyond the control of the company.” Anyhow, what I mentioned is still true. Every carrier has the ability to reassign outside the original footprint so you can get home. 3 hrs after the original footprint is when $ starts kicking in in most agreements, including ours. That language literally has to exist to get you back to a domicile. It’s not the big bad scary language it appears to be and removing it does nothing to force the company to not reassign outside original footprint at an outstation to get you back to domicile. There’s a bunch of other reassignment scenarios. Lol. |

I don’t think that has changed but you can plan to be compared to Allegiant and Sunny in any negotiation. All this talk is the same it was last time and see how that turned out? Just temper your expectations now because the company is perfectly fine underpaying and having high turnover in the 3-5 year range.

Then another 17% raise, then a 35k bonus, then another 10% raise and upped the bonus to 50k. So now not only is our first year rate “touching” legacy pay rates, it’s obliterating them. Aim higher.

This company will trip over $20 to pick up $1 so my expectations are not high. I do think to get a higher $ you will be giving up the override over 82

DL321 isn’t a realistic ask. It should be better. We move more people on the same equipment. How the company makes money is their problem. My job is to get the plane from A to B often with less resources and operational backup my peers at DL enjoy. |

didn't the union come out and say "the 1,000 [or whatever #] grievances need to be resolved before a contract is discussed"
They resolve??? 10 grievances a year ???? if they stick to that, the new contract will happen in the year 2123 (100 years) |
