I jumpseat and hear about Delta guys complaining... United complaining. Everyone is complaining. Just about different stuff.

I am giving it till next contract, if its poor, I will leave, if not I will stay. I made that very clear in the survey they sent out. I have also heard this from a lot of people I have talked to as well (FOs) mainly, or junior CAs. It is no unrealistic to expect a competitive contract in this day and age, and without one, this company will go under. You can't pull 1500hr pilots like the regionals were and expect to keep a ULCC afloat, or you will end up just like the regionals, forced upgrades, training contracts, losing a lot of money. Eventually closing.

I think they know this and I am hopeful it will be a quick negotiation, especially since this current contract is already pretty good, and we dont have to redraft a whole new one, or swap from FAPA to ALPA.

I think it’s important for every pilot to check the box I’m outta here with a poor contract. Company needs to see the percentage of pilots that want to leave, regardless if you do or not. The union will surely share that percentage with the company if it’s good, trust me.😂

Are people using bots on Flica? I had been waiting for the blackout period to end and pick up an awesome trip. Right when the clock struck 1800MDT, that trip disappeared. I didn’t even have enough time to hit the add button. I notice the same thing when the 14th rolls around. An entire page of trips disappear within seconds.

I’m not sure about bots but definitely systems that are impossible to beat. Quick keys etc (which I would categorize as a bit I guess)
DOT for last 6 days of the month are frozen for next months bidding, so they couldn’t go anywhere..

Barry posted a video saying how we are not moving our HQ to Texas and that he lives in Denver. So it’s settled…we’re moving to Texas.

Dang. Miami doesn’t even make top 15 station list in Sept. I recall Shurz mentioning they intended to make PHX, DFW, and MIA grow on , I think, the last earnings call. I know it’s slow and hurricane season but that’s pretty weak for a base.
