Better than a loss, but another quarter with margins half of what legacies enjoyed. Not as many people seem to be as concerned about that as I would think.

not bad for how terrible our performance reports have been......

record breaking profits and profit sharing elsewhere.... I am just glad it wasn't negative.

Barry did say we will get paid more at "some point" :')

Here's the thing, can you imagine how good our margins would be if this place got its **** together? This place must **** away a million bucks in fuel each month from waiting for rampers, gates, no power/air, repo flights, etc. Add in delays, cancels, lost customer goodwill, etc. and I bet those margins could be improved to same level if not better than the majors.

oh 100%... Every one of my friends said Frontier would be the greatest airline if we actually gave a ******. The branding. The ideas. The cost. All wasted when you screw off with pax cancelling their flights and the other bs they throw here by trying to save a little more pennies.

Any other good BB one liners? Investors push back on anything or all boring meatball questions?

One of the questions by an investor related to this. They touted the ancillary fees being $5 higher but the average fare per ticket was down $17 per ticket. Shurz mentioned it was because of our low fares driving demand approach. 30% of our routes being new and pushing the prices down to get it going. Some stick and some don’t. But considering we probably always do that it didn’t really explain the drop. The amount of go wild pass promotions and deals I’ve seen lead me to believe there is something more fundamental happening. Maybe our reputation is becoming more problematic?

I also have guessed the margins are lower at all low cost carriers simply by nature of the service. First class and business travelers are willing to pay more and pad the margins when times are good. We still really haven’t seen a recession since Frontier has developed to know what will happen when times are bad.

Brad hinted in ground school that management is really confused why revenue is not coming back at Frontier like it is elsewhere. All I could think was you gotta be kidding me. Have you see how horrible our operation is. It’s amazing anyone in management has kept their job over the last year. At some point passengers have to weight paying 10% more versus actually getting to their destination/ home on the same day.

I wonder if it is the recent slew of bad publicity and the massive screw ups we have had that involve our contract workers related to cancellations and huge delays.

Aaaaand just like that on FB is a note that check in and bag drop counters will cut you off an hour before the flight starting August 16th. So is that an hour before the scheduled departure or an hour before the two hour delay that they won’t notify you of until the scheduled departure?
