Flow to Spirit -Correction to previous thread

The person who made the thread "Flow to WestJet" was mistaken and corrected himself, however I think that thread is probably dead now. I too have heard the rumor of a flow to Spirit.
Any truth to this?

Confirmed.

The flow will take three years. Not bad.;)

Why not just submit an application to Spirit right now?

Why wait 3 years? What am I missing here?

Has there ever been a pure flow from a non-wholly owned carrier to a major or LCC?

Ferlofodder 07-11-2017 06:29 PM

The question should be: who is flowing to who? Many GoJet FOs will make double what first year Spirit FOs make. "Pay your dues" they say. Well I've paid my dues many times over in this industry, time to get paid. Can't stomach going back to 35k.

I'm so confused. Is this for real?

theclaw 07-12-2017 05:54 AM

Yes, Spirit flow is real. I've heard up to 8 per month. Most of us captains don't care and wouldn't accept it anyway.

Skypilotsv1984 07-12-2017 06:00 AM

Has there been anything official posted about it?

SevereClear1 07-12-2017 07:02 AM

I heard it was possible that to entice more people that you would come in at second year pay
