Should the move be made

Is the street Captain program worth it? What are the pros and cons? Any and all thoughts are welcomed.

That really depends on your personal situation.
Where are you flying now? Can you upgrade there?
Do you live in a G7 base? Are you going to commute?
Do you need the PiC time to move on? Do you just need the captain pay?

My initial advice would be to consider Endeavor, < 4 month upgrade and better pay, or Envoy $45k bonus and < 4 month upgrade.

GoJet does have decent qol while on reserve, but you will also be flying in the right seat. (Still paid as captain)

Gotta be willing to move to base otherwise it's going to be difficult.

I know a couple DEC's that held ORD lines during Summer/Fall of 2017 that were hired in January 2017. It is best to assume being a reserve pilot for at least a year if you are coming in as a DEC, however some people do get lucky.

Management drags a wing while landing this place is dangerous stay away. I can’t wait to get out of here and move on to a better place. Definitely not a safe place to work at.

Yeah, he did drag a wing. So that makes the pilot group unsafe? You gotta be kidding.

It’s scary to know that someone from management who thinks he’s god gift to aviation and thrives on his ego does this it’s not his first time either.
