Correct, but they are all paid differently. The SDF techs were CP, now AX. The DTW techs were once CP, now G7. Line techs at CP make what G7 pays their supervisors.

...and thanks I really needed that lecture on TSH 🙄

Um no. SDF techs still work for Compass. Still cutting mechanics pay when you have a shortage makes no sense.

Swing and a miss. FR8 is correct, all of the mechs work for individual airlines and are contracted out to the sisters. The SDF/IAD/DCA/STL/ORD/DEN mechs are all AX, the RDU/DTW are all G7 and the LAX/SEA/SFO/PHX are all CP. Same way it worked when AX/G7 were both operating in LGA, the mechs worked for G7 and were contracted to work AX birds as ODM.

The guy I talked to had a Compass badge and was driving a TSA truck. Kinda like when guys with TSA badges driving a Gojet truck come up to the plane. So unless the company is violating the FARs big time, there is no way a TSA employee can have a Compass badge.

I believe I already pointed that out.

Bang. Double down the left field line.

You certainly are a special character. All three carriers also employ rovers, who travel to support AOG and augment staffing as needed. The paychecks for the full time employees at the stations are as listed above, but feel free to continue to contort reality in any manner necessary to satisfy your need to feel vindicated.

P.S. when does Bedford start signing the checks?

LOL you must be a special character too if you spend all your free time figuring out how maintenance runs its payroll and sends "rovers" around. I've got better things to do with my time. All I can say the way TSH jacks these mechanics around I never know who I'm gonna see giving me the log can. Nor do I really care as long as it is filled out right. Sorry if it rocks your world that I talked to a Compass mechanic in SDF. However you want to contort it, it isn't good that TSH is ****ing off mechanics when there is a shortage of them.

Not sure he's going to sign your checks, but one way or the other he is probably going to get the rest of your 170s to go along with the 6 airplanes BB has already taken from you.

SO then when the whole alter EGOJET TSA thing happened, how were crews able to walk around with double sides crew badges? 1 being TSA and the other side being GoJet.

The reason they were using the TSA IDs was the refusal of some ALPA members to allow them access to the jumpseat. Once that was found out, the Feds were notified and the practice ended because in the FAAs view, you can only work for one certificate at a time.
