Gojet now has 4 "maintenance spares" in STL for the United operation. They're not in storage, they're not getting converted, they're maintenance spares.

4 MX spares is i high number to have sitting around when its summer and G7 is the lowest DO UA operator...
(4 spares are what OO typically has on any given day for 500 aircraft...)

But if you don't have a contract to fly them, they sit. TSH is going about putting planes in Long term storage when things aren't going well

I would imagine any conversion would be happening at at Bombardier facility since this involves a new type certificate. Don't think TSH has that capability at the STL maintenance facility, plus they have their hands full with TSA and Gojet aircraft.

Just kinda interesting that TSH hasn't announced any kind of delivery plan for the 550s, playing games with the TSA contract, and haven't announced a firm agreement (just a MOU) for the 550s. Also weren't they supposed to negotiate new payrates for the 550? Other interesting rumors floating around about Compass and the removal of the Delta aircraft at Gojet as well. Gonna be an interesting next few months at ole TSH.....

All could come together over the next couple of months, but still interesting nonetheless....

Yeah and then they are a maintenance nightmare when they start flying again. All the old HK airplanes they parked at the hanger for almost two years that are now flying have nothing but maintenance issues....

Isn't anyone going to congratulate us for remaining at the bottom without taking a pay cut?

So is Go-Jet losing 3-4 700's a month on the United side as Expressjet gets the EMB-175 deliveries but they are not being converted to 550's?

Plus the loss of the Delta CRJ's every month? How many of those have left so far?

Only two 700’s have left on the Delta side. I’m not sure about the rest. On a recent thread, some have said that the Delta contract was secured into 2023
