Where does he live? Is he going to relocate to live in base? I think it would be easier to give some advice if there was a little more info available.

Where have I heard this logic before?

Oh yeah:

UAL: 1985
CAL: 1983
EAL: 1989

(damn, the 1980s must have sucked come to think about it...)

We are going to look back on the 2005-2015 range and think the exact same thing. Especially since there's a bunch of dudes willing to take a job at GoJet whereas we will be sitting on the sidelines, waiting to start over somewhere else.

I'd say neither. Both of those airlines are the absolute worst. 15K at great lakes? Not gonna feed a family. Gojets? Really? Trans States pilots would like to eat to. Assuming he likes money and needs to feed his family, maybe the regionals aren't for him. Whatever does not make him hireable now isn't going to help come 5 years form now when its time to move on. He's going to be a lifer at these turds? There is no reason to apply at either of these 2 airlines. Tell your friend to have some self respect.
