I believe there are MANY other factors at play. Greater density of air travel, greater density of jack offs on the ground. Jeez, for all we know it could be all the 135 and air ambulance drivers up there. You realize 121.5 isn’t only accessible by airlines, right? Or even AIRPLANES for that matter.

Neither? I think you are getting correlation confused with causation.

Realistically it probably wouldn’t though, because I have a hard time believing there are numerous legitimate pilots who think it’s funny. It’s more likely the same tools over and over again. I think they’re more likely to be flight students or low timers with a PPL than regional pilots.
