I was at JFK one day years ago and heard someone clear Comair for takeoff...they were lined up and waiting on 31L at KK. They took off and after airborne, tower told them they weren’t cleared for takeoff. That’s when I figured out that someone cleared them on guard.

That could have been horrible.

That probably could’ve been charged with murder if they figured out who did it. That is really disappointing to hear that happened.

How you figure, sports fan?

Easy solution........turn guard down until it’s barely audible. No animal noises....no fake clearances.....no blocked calls from the radio I DO care about.

What would you say about a gate agent who ignores passengers? What would you say about a FA who gives a passenger the finger? What would you say about about a concessions worker who publicly complains about their customers and company?

Are you seriously comparing making animal calls to the following items above? Come on now. Yes that said tool is being an a$$ making animal noises but said tool isn't jeopardizing the customer base or creating an unsafe situation like some have said they've heard on guard, i.e. clearing someone for takeoff? If that story is true, THAT IS A FIREABLE OFFENSE. Making childish noises is not a fireable offense.

Now this right here is an example of a fireable offense in IMHO.

There is sumthing mentally wrong with those attention seekers who use guard as entertainment.
