Greta is a tempest in a teapot. She might have a future in movies if someone ever needs a Frau Blucher character again.

Anybody remember the name of that high school kid that got all the media attention for anti-gun rants a couple years ago?

I’m guessing most don’t and he certainly won’t be remembered like Picasso, Jeanne d’arc, Bobby Fisher.

But when he’s sitting in his little Drew Carey office cubicle in 10 years, he can drag out an old newspaper clipping to impress his former snowflake friends.

Not to side with one or the other, but David Hogg is doing very well in the things he believes in. He is studying at Harvard and has a million twitter followers (not that it guarantees anything but it does show there are people who want to read what he writes about). I think he'll have a fulfilling and successful future.

Thanks!

Mark

I didn’t call you lazy, I simply agreed with you on your personal assessment. I also was very specific not to come up with any personal insult. If I did, I would have said something along the lines of “keep trying, eventually you might say something intelligent”.

But I would never do that.

I was actually referring to insults hurled toward Ms. Thunberg as a weak & insecure argument.

I don’t believe I insulted her either, I do think it would behoove her to be in school more and on the internet less - but again, I have not insulted her.

The same should apply to the current POTUS, one of her main detractors. Perhaps even more so, as she shows much more maturity and comprehension of science than those who can only attempt to belittle and couldn’t pass a basic science class to save their lives.

There is room for both Boyan and the Greta’s of this world, our planet needs both right now.

I don’t see how the POTUS is relevant to Greta’s truancy. FWIW, I believe Donald graduated from high school.

As for Greta lecturing other people on financials, principles, morals, life, and science(?). I’m going to elect not to give my time to a child who I perceive as throwing a tantrum.

No we don’t, here is what we need: 1- For Greta to go back to school so she can learn what she’s actually talking about. 2- people to stop using a mentally ill child as a puppet. 3- stop accusing the adults here of insulting Greta when we are just stating the obvious. 4- get a grip and stop trying to destroy the economy and people’s quality of life for the climate change boogeyman. Let me assure you that liberal world leaders couldn’t care less about the environment or your welfare, they just want control; and Greta is only a pathetic means to that end.

I think this thread has sufficiently degenerated to be shut down...
