We should be trying to take the course that will have the least negative affect, OVERALL. We can't just say we want to avoid "X", without looking at both the positive and negative consequences of doing "X", which is what a lot of people on this website are doing: Just looking at the negative consequences of a social lockdown, without looking at the positive consequences...
