This thread kinda ties into some books I have just finished reading. Sleeping with the Devil and See No Evil both written by Robert Baer an ex-CIA agent. Sleeping with the devil goes into great detail about the corruption Saudi Oil. See no Evil is more about his career and how the CIA turned away from their old school tactics, and is the inspiration for the movie Syriana. Both are very interesting reads, check them out if you have time.

my college roommate was born on a navy base in Saudi. He said over there they have a saying. "My Grandfather rode a camel, my father drove a mercedes, I drive a mercedes, my son shall drive a mercedes, my grandson shall ride a camel." or something like that. |
I find it odd that the CIA, people paid to know about this, and the people we are fighting say the same thing, "GET OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST" Maybe that is a sign or something. Or maybe the media is lying to us again.
