So far everyone requesting a LODA is getting them back fully approved in under a week. It’s having zero impact on experimental aircraft. The point of the new rule was to stop all the flights being offered to the public in high performance aircraft with the owners calling the flight training to avoid the rule of no commercial use of experimental aircraft. You can no longer sell P-51 rides as a example.

What a TERRIBLE decision by the FAA. Private owners of experimental aircraft can't even so much as get a flight review in their aircraft without a LODA. Big government going to big government.
