They're not "objects".
If it doesn't have a significant propulsion system and/or aerodynamic surfaces it's a lighter-than-air craft, ie a balloon.
The media and DoD can safely go out on a limb and just call them balloons. My guess is that they're chinese and launched from ships to position them in desired air streams. RU is a little distracted to be doing this stuff right now, and for all of their bluster DPRK really doesn't want to provoke a conflict which they know they'll lose.
Unless the PRC is now in cahoots with space aliens
