Default Happy 4th Everyone!

Wishing everyone here a happy and safe 4th of July. Whether you are hub turning, on an out-and-back, in a foreign destination, or lucky enough to be at home with your family, have a good one and fly safe always. If you happen to be in SEA, my family and I are having a fireworks show on Oyster Bay. Glad to have you come.

Default Wishing away....

Ahhhhhhh yes, to be sitting off the coast of Oyster Bay, watching the fireworks, enjoying my favorite grilled, smoked salmon from the pike mrkt.
Wish I could be there.
Unfort., no trips to SEA-TAC for me tonight .. appreciate the invite though.

Be safe, happy 4th and enjoy for all of us!!!!

Went sailing and the damn center board fell off the boat and went straight to the bottom of the lake. Happy 4th indeed.

Went flying, and all was well (after the student calmed down). Happy 4th!

blastboy, sorry to hear about the board. At least you got to be out in the water a little bit.

FMI, came back into the house while the men (they turned into boys as soon as the last hotdog and salmon was gone ) are fooling around with the fireworks. Perhaps you can stop by next time you are in SEA.

Cubdriver, what did you grill in Georgia? Have you ever tried grilled peaches? Wonderful!

King, why did your student need to calm down? For a minute there I thought you were talking about me!

We got some clouds that built up mid-morning. The student had never really been around the clouds (primary student) and it ended up throwing her off a bit. But she got a good lesson in how to fly VFR.

Hey coulda been worse....you coulda spent the night being coerced into working at Burger King for minimum wage and having an awkward encounter with an ex-boyfriend in the drive-thru, like I did...I think I would have preferred the bottom of a lake but I hope everyone else had a good 4th anyways...
