Default The Power of Vee

Nothing cures a hangover like watching the sunrise from FL330, the basement of outer space.

Relaxed in the left seat PJVee glanced at the fake Rolex he had bought on the layover in Hong Kong and noted it would only be three more hours before another internationl trip would be in the logbooks. He looked forward to the few days off, his hot tub and the love of a few Hosties...

Suddenly the silence was broken by the cockpit door opening from behind. It was the First Class Hostie.

As she entered the cockpit she could contain herself no more and upon seeing PJVee gushed out: "PJVee!! I've got to tell you something before we land! I want to have your baby!!"

"It's hell being the Rock Star of the airline" PJVee thought to himself; "Just another young Hostie caught up in the moment."

As he thought for a few seconds of the right thing to say the overhead speaker suddenly cracked into life saying: "MAYDAY!! MAYDAY!! ANYONE ON 121.5!!!"

For a moment the young Hostie was caught off guard from what she had heard. Recomposing herself she looked at PJVee and urgently said "Are you going to answer him??? You're the only one up here who can do something!!"

Never losing his cool PJVee looked back at her calmly as he picked up the handmike and said: "Relax honey. It's probably just another non-union start up airline with a couple rookies in the cockpit. We have to listen to this crap all the time. I'll try and talk them down......"
