Default Beer

I'm a big fan of Budweiser or Texas beers. However from time to time I like to try something new.

Today's experience was with a beer called Paulaner Salvator. It's a "Double Bock". I highly recommend it if you decide to spend a little more on a beer. Price for a 6 pack was $11.25. This was in a place that sells 36 pack of budlight for $10.99. Smooth to the taste yet very hearty. Has been brewed for over 360yrs.

Comes in smooth. Has taste but not such a heavy taste that it feels like there would be more hops than needed. Alcohol % is 7.9%. Comparable to a Shiner Boch but smoother with a slightly bolder aftertaste and fuller. I give this one 4 stars. Great beer.

So if you're like me, walk into a place with 200 types of "exotic" beers and don't know what you'd like to try, grab one of these. Safe bet.

Duck, aren't you glad you left Del Rio? There's a whole world out there after all, huh?

Hope you are doing well. Fly safe.

Really? Where do you get that? I've been to Kenya and they had some good beers there.

I enjoy German and Belgian beer myself. In fact, I wont drink any other beer. The German purity laws keep their beers tasting quite nice, with no added junk such as preservatives. I'll venture off and taste other beers here and there....speaking of...Paulaner Salvator is something I can't say I've heard of. From what country is it brewed?

Deutsch! It has to be good then.

I also like St. Pauli Girl. Not as flavorful as say, Weinhenstephaner Hefe, but still one of my favorites. I especially like the lable.
