Show me where, anywhere, that I have accused the BBC or NPR of being propagandists? I will help you out. I didn’t. I am calling YOU a propagandist because you fit the definition. You only spread one side of a story, the pro russian side. YOU are the propagandist here. I don’t even have to prove it, four years of your posting only the russian side has shown everyone what your truly are. . And the issue with drones is one of cost effectiveness. It’s a low tech weapon but there are low tech relatively inexpensive solutions to at least limit the possible damage. https://www.aerotime.aero/articles/e...-counter-drone https://www.twz.com/air/a-29-super-t...s-drone-hunter and I suspect the use of A-10s in the strait on the Iranian high speed patrol boats will mean the Air Force’s desire to scrap all the warthogs will take another hit in Congress. |

Real time? Unlikely. But I’d bet they have every parking spot on every UAE, Saudi, Kuwaiti, and every other airbase within range of their missiles coordinates down to three decimal places. And enough local humint to send them coded targeting messages. The internet makes that pretty easy. For that matter, there are reconnaissance drones as well and both Chinese and Russian recon satellites.

So I started the original Notable Developments thread some months ago, and I included some guidance on what it was about to try and keep it worthwhile. It quickly got derailed by the usual chaff. I even tried to guide it back on track only to see it get shut down after a mere six pages (and I have no idea why as I was not consulted beforehand, it was not particularly acidic compared to this one lately). That was my last attempt to start a thread here, I'll just post whatever is interesting on whomever's thread I feel like derailing. Anyways, I just thought it was rather amusing how quickly it got snuffed out while this one meanders on and on and on (until someone reports it to an Admin, hint, hint).
Some pretty notable developments lately. The Ukrainians seem hard at work trying to cancel out Putin's oil windfall, several significant strikes on different refineries and export terminals. Because I'm not too familiar with the names/locations I am not sure if some of the reports overlap, so I won't try to list them. However, a 25 Mar strike on the Baltic port of Ust Luga set off fires that have burned for days (although some additional strikes since may explain why). Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles seem to be able to strike at will anywhere but the Far East. The Russian Spring offensive is two weeks old... but it is the Ukrainians who seem to be taking any territory. This was an observation made by Phillips OBrien, who stands out as one of the most knowledgable commentators I've followed, I'm about ready to pay for a subscription to his Substack. Here's a link to a nice piece from a few days ago that talks more about what the Ukrainians are trying to accomplish with their strikes. Out. https://substack.com/home/post/p-192291032 |

Come here and it's all doom and gloom for Ukraine. Just saw headlines talking about the 470 sq km's Ukraine has taken back (this year?). Nothing of that mentioned here. The increasing tempo, and success, of Ukraine's drone war against Russian oil ($$)? It's like it's not even happening.

Try avoiding ad hominem attacks, defamation, and outright libel. That might help. While the site itself is largely protected legally from the consequences of such posting by section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, most don’t want the nuisance of being dragged into depositions and providing evidence. That’s why they have terms of service. I am perfectly within the terms of service to point out you only post the pro russian side of the story. . |

The ‘real’ story reads deadlock. In every language. Hopes 2026 contains a working settlement already one quarter in the mirror. Furthermore no poster appearing anywhere on^^^ blog has anything to do with any of it. Delete whatever you like. These are the the facts. |
