Seems there is a LODA for some of them.

Based on what I’ve read it seems they are pretty capable.

Looking at it on paper, going on sales strength, I have no problem believing that Mel. One caveat. Safe in the hands of experienced, daily diet flyers. Put a guy doing cruise ship glacier runs in a Beaver on an AirCam, no worries. I’ve logged 2500 hours conning flying boats. Had recurring nightmares about being assigned to do trips in them years later. On water runways, nothing is a given.

Worked floats myself, never flew a aircam, aside from the normal dangers of water ops, guess they stall super slow, centerline enough they can take off on one engine.

Aside from being butt ugly, seems like it’s almost cheating to get a MES in one vs a G44 or something
