new union?
#1
with all the problems with the airline unions, does anyone see a new union coming around, created by pilots, and this time FOR pilots? is there anyone with the law/business background that is willing to do such a thing... it seems ALPA is running pilots into the ground and those on top are undoubtedly getting paid off by the airlines for encouraging these pay cuts?
its a little radical, but why doesnt everyone dump ALPA and start something new in order to save this industry for the pilots?
one more question, what are the average union fees for ALPA and the likes?

I think it may be a good idea for each individual airline to have its own Union with only a loose national affiliation with other individual unions for national lobbying purposes. No matter how much ALPA can say they are equal with every airline pilot group they represent its almost impossible to be that way. Just a thought.
