I got one on pilotpal.com

Keeping it updated just in case I lose/stolen/damaged mine. Plus i can access it anywhere.
Good filters. Lets you see how many hours you flew in a specific plane and other standart filters.

Logbook Pro rocks! It will print out an 8710 for you, keep track of currency VFR, IFR, 121, 135 reports. Bla bla bla. I love it.

I use an excel spreadsheet that I created to emulate the Jepp Professional Pilot Logbook. Haven't used a paper log in over 6 years.

I love Logbook Pro. I just wish I didn't have to input everything from the last 4 years. Better now than in another 4 though.

The search function is your friend, bro. Plenty of discussion on here about them.

I use an Excel spreadsheet, personally.

I think it would be neat to have a computer log tell you stats on your flying. How much IMC, night, turbo-prop time do I have? Of course, they didn't make electronic logs in 1982, when I started flying. The thought of entering 12,000+ hours of time in a computer keeps me in a paper logbook to this day. Besides, I don't care about time anymore. I keep a paper logbook out of habit.

Logbook Pro is the best. I've never tried anything else, but I'm sure it's the best.

Hi!

I've read basically all the posts on elec. logbooks. Based on that info, LogBookPro is the best, but it is not without it's shortcomings. There are some free elec. programs, and many people have used a spreadsheet to make their own.

When you're trying to fill out a complicated time grid, or an online application, the elec. logbooks are priceless.

People have had some problems printing/binding LogBookPro on their own (you can have LBPro do it for $), so I posted a couple of posts on how to do it-the information online I found was not complete.

Good luck!
