Default domestic 777?

sorry, this sounds like an a.net question, but any US carriers fly the triple seven domestically, particularly out of the northeast

and if so, carrier and route

I found this: http://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/B772

There are a few domestic flights, nothing really in the northeast, unless you consider Chicago in the northeast.

DAL bases it's 777 in ATL. It flies a couple domestic stops a month ATL-LAX, ATL-JFK and back. But the majority of the routing is long haul non-stop international service.

UAL, AA, and DAL all fly 777's domestically- typically as revenue reposition flights between bases for flight going to/from maintenance events.

AA has a couple of runs for the 777 in the domestic system. ORD-DFW, DFW-ORD, DFW-MIA, MIA-DFW, and I think there was an LAX - MIA and back. They were once a day and used as IOE for the new guys. Best J/S in AA's fleet by far for me.

Years ago AA had a 2 times a week MD-11 that repositioned from ORD to JFK ... originally it was a rev flight but for whatever reason the revenue was so light it didnt pay to use it as a rev flight. eventually it became a maint repo and I rode it to JFK several times. Usually there were just DH's and JS'rs on board.
