195

I'll hit all of them just to make sure- leave no stone uncovered. If I see a gorgeous 195 roll up I will come out and greet the distinguished gentleman that disembarks. Any town is what you make of it, given a little luck perhaps. A bad neighbor can do a lot to ruin things in my experience but that's uncommon, and every town has at least a few things to offer. I would look forward to an aviation-rich environment in a town like Wichita. That's a pretty special feature for a town to offer.

Hey everyone,
Just a quick heads up since this site has contributed to 7/8th of the knowledge I currently posess. I had a busy Thursday and Friday this week. On Thursday I drove from Boston to Teterboro to ATP to take my ATP written and was there all day and left with a 91%. That night I drove to LGA and stayed in a hotel for a Friday morning interview.

I interviewed with Colgan and was hired, it was my first and only choice and it fits my profile of what I was looking for. (no comments SAABROOSKI)

I am not going to training until late oct or so and I am expecting the SAAB but they are going to call me in a few weeks because I may be needed for the Q (again no comments about Q pay SAAB)

I am pretty set on the SF340 though because it has a great upgrade time and has a base 30 minutes from my house (MHT) when the Q will currently only be in EWR.

One of the only benefits to the Q is captain pay is 10 dollars more than the Saab and being in the first class would give me good seniority to pick a good line which would possibly make being based in EWR and having a crashpad better. But I really think there will be no substitute for the QOL that being based 30 minutes from home will provide.

So thats it...my news, over and out

CONGRATS, honestly I mean it, you are going to have a lot of fun, first airline gig is a blast, one question though, I heard the Q was still supposed to be outstation basing?, or am I incorrect??

Congrats on the new job! I'd fly a Saab if someone paid me what I make now:D But moving up from flight instructing to one is definately a bonus.
