Default Flight Planning Software - Blackberry

Hello All,

I pulled the crazyest stunt that I have ever done. I am becoming an Airplane Owner for the first time next week. The winning ship is a 1958 model Mooney M20A.

Having a background in technology I am looking for the easiest possible way to do flight planning through my Blackberry. I can do so many other things I can not imagine why this wonderful tool could not come up with a flight plan and weather for point A to point B. The key is finding the available software.

Requirements:

- Preferably Free
- Should be able to compute Victor airways or direct line with two points.
- Should be able to retrieve weather enroute for that route.

I have been out of GA for quite a while so I expect a bit of a learning curve.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

Cheers,
IW

www.fltplan.com It's not totally formatted for blackberry, but that's what I use. If you switch to "Desktop" view, it's easier to get around in.

Try AviatorCalc. There is a free example of the software available but the full product costs about the same as a couple of landing fees.

It meets all of the requirements at the start of this post (except for the free bit). Full details are available on the AviatorCalc web site. (Use Google and search for "AviatorCalc")
