New airline rumor
Out of town and can't figure how to post a link from son's computer. He was showing me a rumor on Airliners.net. Evidentially someone has purchased the old Eastern logo and plans to start operations in 2009 with A-319's. Maybe someone here can post the rumor.

Eastern always struck me as a classy airline. I interviewed there prior to the strike. It turns out they were looking for scabs. When the strike came, I got the call. In fact several of us were sitting around the pool at the local crash pad and got the call one after another. They offered a quick upgrade, "secure" transport to and from training, and something like a $5000 bonus after the first year.
We all had fun asking questions and finally telling them to take a hike.
