Default Delta 757-300

How come Delta doesn't have any 757-300s? I think they should get some because they are cool and would look good in Delta's new livery.

As long as they didn't let the brain child that designed the Delta "Song" paint job near them!

Probably has something with the 753 seating similiar numbers as the 762, Delta getting rid of the 762 during the time the 753 was inproduction, and the 757 line closing in 2004, Delta filing for bankruptcy, and a recession beginning in early 2001 during the middle of the production run.

Short answer, Delta doesn't have them because they decided they didn't need them.

GENIUS! A new way to decide if an airline should purchase more hard assets........only if they look COOL! Maybe Delta should reconsider moving WQH in ATL into a different building. There are a ton of COOL ones downtown.

Talk about an airliners.net moment. . .

If airlines bought planes only because they are cool and would look good in their livery we would have trouble.

Due to the a.net nature of this thread, I moved it to hangar talk.

We're trying to keep the professional forums, professional. Thanks for your help.
