Exclamation Flight Simulator X: Adrenalin?!?!?

Hey Everyone!

I love playing Microsoft Flight Simulator X. And I heard that they just came out with an Upgrade Pack called Flight Simulator X: Adrenalin. Apparently, you can now fly an F/A-18, and a whole other bunch of new aircraft. [1] Do any of you have it? (and if so, is it good?). Also, [2] I've been trying to get my hands on a really great Fighter-Jet Flight Simulator (for PC) with a variety of aircraft for the longest time...Any recommendations?

Always,

Dreamer

Just purchased it last night at Wal-Mart. I got it for $31.87.

I'm flying the Ultra-light. I've have finished the first three tutorials. Now I know why I love to fly. Although its simulation, when coming in for a landing and the speed is constant and you maintain a slow & steady descent,........man what a rush.

I make every effort to imagine myself just as successful doing the REAL flying as I am on flight sim. The transition will be challenging, but I'm up for it; will meet it head on; and overcome any issues that I may encounter with questions, questions and more questions!!!

Don't know anything about the Fighter-Jet Sim. sorry.

FS X requires a purchase add on to get an F-18? I thought there were hundreds of downloads on the web for different A/C including many F-18's, even if there werent any designed for X, I can't imagine none of them would work, specially the ones designed for 2004

EvilGN,

Really? I had no idea you could get some of that stuff for free. Do you know of any sites where you can get it--and are safe downloads? I'm still interested in "Adrenalin", but that's very interesting.

Always,

and if you want the full experience, vatsim.com read learn, read some more and download a few other programs and you are flying sim with sim ATC, and its pretty good, the controllers for the most part know what they need too, and at times can be even more by the book than real controllers

I use avsim.com

All the others listed are good as well

I love the freeware downloads. I do not have the Flight Sim X expansion. I have FSX, but I don't play it because my computer can't handle it.
