Default Delivery Flyby

Pretty cool video of a flyby in Seattle during the delivery of our latest 777-300ER.

One of the comments says he was 28 ft AGL, does it really look that low?

no it doesnt. just some uninformed youtube commenter pretending to know what they're talking about. Notice that the same person who claimed it to be at 28' AGL also says that the pilot will be disciplined.

I'd venture to say that he is a little below 100'. 70-80 maybe? Definitely not 28!

I can't imagine how noisy that cockpit must have been with all the EGPWS warnings.

That's why I like my small turbines, they have an "Taw's Inhibit" button!!!

That's a sweet fly-by though, I'd say 50' was the low-point? I wonder if anyone felt the wake-vortices!!!

Well, looks like it did hit the fan. It was very low and slow and the capt. was fired a few days ago. The company didn't think it was very cool. It looked good though.
