Hello, does anyone know if American Airlines plans on purchasing the new Boeing 787?

A few Google searches say that AA won't buy them until they are profitable again, and even if they did order some, the production line is booked through 2013. Then again, that was a Google search, and I'm a student pilot, so what do I know?
