Whats your vice? (what do you spend your money on)?

Well, I hope to one day make enough money to but, I am obsessed with exotic/pretty cars. When (if) I ever make enough Its going to be either a Viper (used ones for $60,000-very achievable), or A Black on lack Porsche GT3, Acura NSX etc........ Ferrari's and Lambos just wont be achievable in this profession

What is it for some of you guys? Boats? planes?

usmc-sgt 06-22-2008 04:01 AM

Guns........haven't even fired my AR yet and about to buy an XD.

stoki 06-22-2008 08:06 AM

As of now I am trying to save as much as possible, and put that money towards paying off my debt, and at the same time saving for a JAA conversion.

At the moment if I was not doing that I would probably have some sort of a street bike, like an R6 most likely. :D Nothing too pricey.

Zach 06-22-2008 08:22 AM

I spend my money on my GTO too.

JoeyMeatballs 06-22-2008 08:35 AM

I like your style! Which XD are you getting? I had an XD9sc for a while; loved it! It was a great gun, accurate, never gave me any problems, and disappeared when I carried it. Ended up selling it to fund something else, but it was a good lil shooter.

Here's what I spend my money on...when the wife lets me, that is. Got a couple left out, but here's most of the family. My Stag AR w/Aimpoint ML2 and Pentagon X2 L.E.D., Beretta 96FS Inox, and my two carry guns: HK USPc 9mm, and Glock 19. Also have a Kahr PM9 for my wife, but I carry it, too, since she doesn't have her CCH License yet.

Fast computers, faster cars, and even faster airplanes.

Not necessarily in that order.

Can't decide......leaning toward the XD45 Service, but ammo prices are brutal, might just go with the 9mm. Sometime the compact looks appealing too but I don't really plan on getting a concealed carry. So many decisions, so little money!

Nice AR!!!!!! I bought an Stag A3 myself, can't wait to get out to the range.

Nice guns KingAir & Jungle. No revolvers? Right now I spend all my spare change on student loans to the tune of a 1.2 grand a month. But I love musical gear (keyboards), guns, street bikes, and I already have some nice home theatre stuff but could always use better. Oh yeah, women are a hobby when money permits :)

Thanks, Cub. Nope, no wheel guns yet. Not my style, although I'm definitely going to get one sometime. Probably some kind of S&W snubbie I'm thinking.

I should do what you're doing! If I could drop that much on my school loans each month we'd be in much better shape in a couple of years. I applaud you! :D

Hoof Hearted 06-22-2008 03:11 PM

I'd get myself an Albatross with a G IV interior and have it outfitted with Garrett TPE 331-15's. I know they have PT's on some but I want the Dash 15's. I saw something similar to this in Victoria, Canada. I'd love to take a few years off and fly around the world in the most unstraight line I could imagine.

Sounds great, the sound of the Turbo spooling is music to my ears, love the Blow-Off valve too. Only problem is my charge pipe melted my A/C lines leaked freon (or whatever they used), A/C doesnt work...........

On Cold mornings it is on the verge of obnoxiously loud, I still have the OEM CAT in, I had a Test Pipe, but caused Boost to spike all the way up to 15PSI:eek: 10PSI is the highest ya wanna go on the stock Headgasket.

I would love a new Z06 though, or A Viper, I will keep the S in the future and turn it into a TRACK only car, roll up to the club in a VIPER..........revving to 9,000RPMS is nice, but Ill take the monstrous down low torque of American Muscle anyday........

Superpilot92 06-22-2008 04:49 PM

your pics stopped working again from what i can tell.

I prefer to count my money so I don't have toys. Well, that's not quite true either. A girl can never have too much gold, diamonds and pearls. ;) And handbags, shoes, clothes, lingerie, shoes, diamonds and more shoes.

FlyJSH 06-22-2008 06:16 PM

I'll start with an a mid 70's R75 (toaster tank)

I race motorcycles. No matter how much you make you can spend it all on that sport.

Do you ever go up an ride the dragon? I am not for sure if that is the same place or not... I so wanna take a bike up there... Sad thing is, I only live an hour or so away from it...

KiloAlpha 06-24-2008 04:43 PM

Definitely my motorcycle... virtually nothing on the street can touch their performance. I just picked up a new ZX10 about a month ago. I've been riding for about 5 years now and have had just about as many bikes; a YZF600, R6, R1, older ZX10, now my blooo baby.

380 lbs + 191 horsepower = :D

Nice......even for a kawi! I'm a Yamaha man myself, but unfortunately my budget only has allowed me a 1995 YZF600. It'll still do everything your ZX10 will, just not as fast, smooth, etc.... I just recently bought an 02' V-Star 1100 because my wife hates riding on the sportbike(go figure). It's a nice bike, but I definately love the performance factor of the sportbikes much better!!!!

Yes, Deals Gap is the real name, Tail of the Dragon is another name that road has picked up. I will be there for 3 full days, and a partial morning this coming tuesday before we head home.

See k i l l b o y . c o m - Your High Quality Photos from the Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap for his weekly picture-blog and updates!!!
