Now the banner itself has been butchered to allow the scroll-across-the-screen-click-me-click-me-I'm-only-a-harmless-survey-click-me-please type banner ad.

Here, in an effort to preserve our memory of what it used to look like when it becomes completely obscured, is the left-most element of the very distinct banner which gave this site a polished, professional look:






Here's the lowly sliver that repeats to make it look like one continuous masthead on your screen. This poor guy is getting abused so ads can "float" across the screen.

I like the westjet no fuel surcharge banner ad.....because a bunch of commercial pilots are looking for a great deal on their next airline ticket purchase.
