Just watched a UPS fly out of anchorage 09:30 10/28/08 was it anyone on here?

Yeah, it was the coolest thing because a little after it took off the sun hit the side of it and it just lit up. Made me want to fly sooo baddd!

I bet they were on their way to Asia. You might get an answer in about 4 hours or so.

If it had been a 767, and about three days earlier, and closer to 1030am, it could have been me.

9+16, ANC to KIX. At least it was light all the way.

I applaud the guy for having a passion. Some of the old farts around here could take a lesson from that. Remember why you fly to begin with... Hell sometimes, it is worth flying to just be flying. When was the last time you major guys took up a cessna, piper, or diamond and just buzzed around? Cmon, All of us, have walked outside ona cold clear day and said, "Man, today would be great weather to fly in."
