I've only seen WTC a few times, but I like watching it as well. Someday, when I'm a rich airline pilot (LOL), I'm going to fly over to France for the 24 hours of Le Mans.

I own an '06 STI and do the same thing . Luckily the guys at the dealership don't know I've voided the warranty, so they repair most of the problems for free.

What do you think of the new STIs? I kinda miss the bug-eyes of the old subie, but the new one is growing on me, especially from the rear of the car. And 300hp with AWD certainly doesn't hurt!

More importantly, the new Impreza WRX is nearly a full blown STI! The 09 has 268hp!!

I drive a VW MkIV GTI 337 thats been lightly modified and is blast to drive around. I plan on "upgrading" to an STI sometime in the reasonably near future, but I can't get over how good the gas mileage in my VW is for its performance level...I've heard from a few STI owners that the mpg is only so-so for it.

In the mean time, I still enjoy dusting Civic Si's in my VeeDub.

Well I hate hatchbacks, so it'll be a cold day in hell before you see me in an '08 STI. Mitsubishi also ruined the Evo X this year , so if my current STI bites the dust I'll probably be driving something European.

CART is sadly missed on this end. The next best thing to the Grand Prix circuit for us American Joe's. The current Indy Car series is a joke.

I only really like the 2008/09 STi's because of the interior, the tail is pretty good looking too with smoked tail lights. The front is..meh. The sport grille makes it look a lot better I would still love to have one.

I watched a few of the races this past summer on CBS. Not big on Formula 1, but it was interesting to see the BMW team compete with the Jaguar team. Those two always seemed to be going at it.

I was a CART fan too. IMO, Justin Wilson was better there than in the Indy Car series. The reason I watch Indy Car, and not Nascar is because I can actually understand the announcers.

Also, Danica Patrick is hot.

There is nothing like the sound of each F1 car... whether it is BMW or Ferrari... just amazing makes the hair on your back stand up.

Caught the '05 Monaco GP and that was unbelievable!

I live close to Daytona... and after that GP I've grown to hate NASCAR... the only thing worth seeing there is the Rolex 24 in Jan/Feb

WRC is crazy... those guys have some huge gazongas!
