Default Vote

This coming Tuesday, as you all know is election day, and no adult living in the United States, has any excuse whatsoever not to vote. I'll bet any of our servicemen and women serving around the world would love to be able to vote IN America on election day. Liberal, conservative, independent or otherwise, makes no difference. It is an insult to all who have served this country to forgo this privilege and responsibility. So get out there and cast your ballot. And just remember, regardless of whoever wins the election on Tuesday, the sun will rise on Wednesday.

From the TOS

there are currently NO forums that provide a venue for discussing politics or religion
I have no problem with this thread and I dont think anyone else will either just make sure it stays along the lines of simply stating the importance of voting with no sides taken or political discussions started.

I get done tomorrow at 2240 and will sit in the crew room until 0230 until I motivate to the FDX EWR crew room to jump on the 0330 to BOS on the whisper jet to then take the bus at 0530 45 minute bus ride from BOS to my car and then drive the 10 minutes home getting there at around 0630, take a power nap and off to the polls!

OMG This is so exciting, it will be my first year I'm able to vote. I'm going to try and vote every year for the rest of my life, unless I get exiled from the U.S.

It will be my first election, too, and I'm so excited! I can't wait to go connect that arrow and participate in a process that helps define the United States of America

Ahem... One has the right to vote. One also has the right NOT to vote. Just because you can vote doesn't mean you have to, and just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I will be voting. If someone else chooses to excercise their right NOT to vote, I don't think they should be looked down upon.

The lesser of two evils is still evil....Especially when the two evils are about as far apart as a piece of notebook paper. I voted for everything but POTUS, I exercised my right.

There are more than two choices for president.

Ditto that thought. Having a privilege doesn't necessarily mean it's a responsibility (just ask the homeless in Indiana). If neither candidate gives you the warm fuzzy, you have the right to stay home....and that's ok.
