Now for the important stuff...how many guitar players have we got on here?
I just started playing about a year ago and can't put it down.
Equipment:
- Takamine GS330S
- Fender Standard Strat (Cherry Sunburst)
- Fender Telecaster (Black)
Anyone bring one along with them on the road?

I've been playing for a little while now, and the current rig is an ESP LTD Viper 301, with an EMG H4/H4A set, and a cheap Marshall MG30DFX. I've also got a Washburn D100 acoustic. I recently stripped the finish off of the Washburn, it's down to the bare mahogany now.... and it sounds and feels light-years better.
Hopefully in the somewhat near future, I'll be on the hunt for a second electric. I'm thinking a new ESP of some kind or a Gibson with the 496/500 set (Either Explorer or V).
Before that happens, I'm planning on an amp of some kind. An orange Tiny Terror would be sweet, but a Rocker 30 or Mesa Single Rec would be insane. We'll see how much the neighbors and roommates tolerate.

wow haven't played guitar in a few years...still have some... collecting dust though...
Koa-wood Taylor and Ibanez RG,
just sold my PRS to buy another gun
IMHO nothing sounds better than that Taylor with Elixir strings

Agreed, Taylors sound and play awesome. I put Elixir strings on my Takamine and will never use anything else...they're definitely worth the extra cost.
I'm trying to do decide what my next acoustic is going to be...right now it's between a Martin or a Collings OM-body.
Pete, I'd definitely go with the Explorer...but I'm also a huge U2 fan...

Gretsch 6120, Fender Jazz base and my good ole' Strat. Some SOB broke into my apartment about ten years ago and the only thing he took was my '59 Les Paul. My uncle bought it brand new in '59 with lawn mowing money. If I ever get my hands on that dirty...

Ouch. Vengeance is rarely justified. In this case, you're cleared in hot...

I've been playing for about 13 years. I can't remember all the model numbers, but here it goes...
Ernie Ball JP6
Dean Avalanche 7 (7-string guitar)
Simon & Patrick acoustic
Carvin 5-string bass (koa and mable, wood finish, sooo pretty!)
Eden Nemesis bass amp
Mesa-Boogie Nomad Guitar amp
I think that's about it...
