Default Rate this River Visual 19 Execution

I'm interested in real pilots' rating the approach in the following video.

I'm not a pilot but it looks like this guy was darn near a missed approach. It seems like he had very little rwy left to work with.

Here's the vid:

Kind of hard to tell from that camera angle, but it looks relatively close to the aiming point.

I have no idea. Looked good to me though. Of course I'm not trying to be smooth when I land so for me it would have been long!

Default Threshold Crossing Height

Normal TCH for an airliner is about 50 feet--hard to tell, because right when he crossed the threshold, the camera went to zoom and I lost the perspective of the threshold---but I would guess he was twice that, which means, under normal technique, he would touch down twice as far.
Since airliners typically aim 1500 feet down the runway, that would put him at 3000 for touchdown.

Rwy 19 is 6869 ft long---not a whole lot left, although I saw a DAL 757 land on 26 at Pensacola with 3000 behind him...and it's not much different. OK when it's dry; bad when wet or icy.

[inappropriate portions deleted, please don't post these types of comments/sentiments again.]... no crosswind correction in the flair. Looks like he side loaded the crap out of it... which is often my experience sitting in the back on them. Hey no broken airplane though!

landing in DCA i find that if i turn off the runway onto a taxiway and not out of the river onto a bank...and all three gear are still on, then we're doing good...

if there's no fed waiting for me at the gate for busting P56 than its a great day!

if i have time to go to potbelly's and get "The Wreck" and a pickle...then i know i'm living the dream...
