In your user control panel you have "instant email notification" set "on" which generates an new email message to you every time someone responds to one of your subscribed threads. You can select daily or even weekly messages if your getting to many emails - or just turn it off, and you won't get any.

What's interesting is that when Internet users publish a linkback, it's acting as a reply to a message that your subscribed to and gererating an email to notify you. From what you describe, it sounds like that's what's happening, so I'm going to try an recreate that behavior and see if we can craft a fix.

In the meantime, you may want to unsubscribe that particular thread.
