If you are in PDX, hands down the best place is the Riverfront Cafe in the C concourse. Get one of their wraps with the associated pasta salad. Best bang for your buck by far. Trust me, I've spent a lifetime in that airport.

DCA has Cosi which is pretty good, but Five Guys is awesome. I'm just waiting for In'n Out to make it way to the east coast in some airport, and that'll be the end of my medical. Another good one is in RIC, there is a cranberry and pear chicken salad topped with almonds and goat cheese at some vendor that is to die for. Honestly, it's some good stuff. Also if your stuck in LGA, outside of the airport, if you walk across the bridge towards the La Guardia Airport Hotel, there is a food truck in the parking lot with a great (i.e. spicy as heck!) prime rib sub that is only 5 bucks. In Boston, do NOT eat from the Au Bon Pain Express that is mid way in the US Airways terminal, it's awful. I had a tuna melt that had been sitting for what seemed like days, and I had the toilet shots to prove it the next day!

Atlanta Bread Company in ATL used to be great deal. At one time they had a "kids meal" on their menu which was a healthy meal, with good portions, for cheap. Word got around so much that tons of pilots and f/a's would order the kids meal. Eventually "ABC" got tired of people not buying their full-price meals and they took the kids-meal off the menu. It was a sad day for all of us cheap *******.
Never knew about these, love bbq, gotta try those out...

CLE - Banjos
It's a sandwich shop in terminal C. These are the best sandwiches I have ever had. Try the pot roast sandwich.
AUS - The Salt Lick - BBQ
The sauce is so good, you'll be asking for extra bread to sop it all up.

Gyro place in ORD.
ATL used to have a fancier place in terminal E with good pasta salads and panninis. I'd get some exercise by walking there on my Airport productivity breaks and enjoy the relative vacancy of the international terminal during the day.
