Default Navy SEAL Chases Down Dog Killers

Now I'm no Navy SEAL and never can be one, but I too would kill the person who shot my dog.

From Associated Press:

All it took was the gunshot fired outside his Walker County home to trigger training ingrained in former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the lone survivor of a dramatic battle in Afghanistan in 2005.

He did a sweep through the house. Checked on his mother. And bolted out the door, where he found dead his beloved Labrador retriever, Dasy, a dog given to him to help him recover from his own wounds and the loss of his fellow Navy comrades.

“I could tell she tried to get away because there was a blood trail,” Luttrell recalled in a phone interview Wednesday. “When I saw she was dead, the only thing that popped into my head was, ‘I’ve got to take these guys out.’ ”

Glen Beck had the 911 tapes yesterday. It was something else. He was doing 110 mph, talking on the cell, cool as a cucumber. I think Glen mentioned he sounded as calm at 110mph as he does at 20mph.

I'm suprised this guy didn't kill those B@st@rds, he'd been through some pretty devastating experiences already. I swear the death penatly needs to be expanded for scum like that!

I definitely agree with that. The world doesn't need and won't miss individuals like that.

It says they pontentially could get six months. They should potentially be getting six years. Very sad story.

Don't mean to stir the pot here, but if you were listening to Glenn Beck's radio show on Wednesday, Glenn finally got in touch with Luttrell after he had been missing for a few days. Luttrell admitted that he had been hunting down the two individuals who are still on the loose.

Glenn encouraged him not to take matters into his own hands and to let our justice system do it's job. Luttrell went on to say, while being interupted by Glenn, and I'm paraphrasing ... "If they think I'm the only SEAL out here, they're crazy. I've got a lot of friends Glenn. Trust me, they're going to pay."

Gleen then tried to talk sense into the guy and wanted him to stay on the line so Glenn could talk to him during the break. Luttrell hung up and his cell phone was turned off.

If you havent read Luttrell's book, Lone Survivor, please do. It is an amazing story about how this man and many other American heros faced terrible odds. The things that Marcus endured to survive and escape, and the amazing skill in fighting the Taliban is astounding.

Pick up the book, you won't be disappointed.

As for these scum bags, I somewhat wish that Marcus would have reached them first. They picked the wrong guys dog to kill.

Sounds like those pukes picked the wrong house to mess with. They are lucky he didnt kill them before the police showed up.

Those comfort animals work wonders, and I know a few people that have received them.

How could those kids grow up that screwed up?

Im literally sick to my stomach.
